Neural Work

Neural manipulation therapy technique

In the photo above I am assessing for the tension of the brachial plexus, which is the bundle of nerves that exit the neck and travel down into the arms.

Neural manipulation is a gentle hands on therapy which helps to free up the nerves and the connective tissue around the nerves (dura mater) and the bones around the brain (cranium) so that the nervous system functions optimally. This is important because a properly functioning nervous system is essential to nearly every bodily process.

As with other tissues and systems in the body, when the nervous system becomes dysfunctional it will cause the body to protect or compensate to help that area. Neural dysfunction also diminishes the nervous system's responsiveness to dysfunction in other tissues, hindering the body's ability to utilize its own innate self-corrective capabilities. This makes the body's constant search for equilibrium more difficult.

Neural manipulation can help for conditions such as:

Headaches, migraines, concussions, vertigo, insomnia, nerve restrictions, whiplash, herniated disks, sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, joint pain, carpal tunnel, golfers or tennis elbow, or any neck or back pain.

Testimonials

If you are in Kamloops and in need of an RMT or general wellness enhancement you need to go see Jenna Nicklas, RMT. I've been experiencing an incredible amount of pain lately in my right shoulder and arm from my nerve injury last year in my C6-7 vertebrae after re-pinching it. I don't know why I put off seeing her since being back. After one visit and Jenna going above and beyond in that session taking the time in laying a groundwork of treatment before tackling my neck I left with the pain I was experiencing going from an 8 out of 10 to a 1. I would trade having both arms broken again to have that pain go away. Her range of knowledge, assessment, and method of treatment definitely are levels above. I cant help but rave about her after she's alleviated the 24/7 mind-numbing/arm debilitating pain I've been in because I slept through a solid night yesterday for the first time in weeks! Thanks Jenna!
